Publishing
Mangalocity specializes in electronically publishing the works of writers and artists online. We deal primarily with graphic novels and science ficition or horror stories. All works submitted and accepted will be placed in our online member bookstore and writers will receive a royalty for each manuscript sold. Ebooks can be electronically downloaded into PDF format, and printed from a printer or read on a palm pilot. Mangalocity will also attempt to get affiliated writers works submitted to other ebook sites online, and will enter into license agreements with artists and writers.
Collaboration/Networking
Mangalocity will also specialize in the collaboration of artists, writers, and animators. Winners of our various online contests may be contacted in the future to collaborate with other artist to produce graphic novels and animated films. Mangalocity will also speicalize in the networking of artists together.
Production
Mangalocity will be a full scale production company producing animated films using a revolutionary process called WNPC (World Network Production Communication) In this process, artists, writers, character designers, voice talent, musicians, and animators will be contacted for the opportunity to have a part in producing the film remotely. This means that the designers do not have to live in the same city, state, province or country, yet can still take part in assisting Mangalocity with producing an animated film. Workers will be payed commission based on each piece of work for the film they produce by a specific deadline. Anyone around the world can participate this. Mangalocity will contact the winners of our online contests first and give them this opportunity.
Artists, writers, and animators will collaborate and communicate with Mangalocity via email, instant messaging, and web cam, all very low priced services which will allow the most effective communication with disregard to language or distance barriers.
