Because we will receive a large amount of submissions, we do not guarantee a response. We do review all submissions, but please do not email our editorial department about your submission. We will keep in touch with you if interested. One way to definitely get your work noticed is to enter our art and writing contests which we are holding here at our website. There will be five contests total, and the winners of those contests will have an opportunity to have their worked published or licensed by Mangalocity.com. We don't post deal terms, schedules, or page rates. We will only discuss this at the time of contacting you.
Talent We Are Looking For
Manga Writers
We are looking for talented writers who are skilled in writing science fiction or horror stories. We need writers to collaborate with our artists in writing graphic novels. Writers can send their work to the address abover, or they can enter the scifi writers contest being held here at our website.
Creators If you are an individual or a team who has developed a new idea for a manga or animated movie, please feel free to send you submission information to the address above. We would like to see six to seven pages of sequential artwork in pen or ink format. We would also like to see four to five pages of finished character designs.
Animators Mangalocity will be in the process of producing an animated film soon, and we are always looking for skilled animators. You can send us a VHS or DVD showing a short piece of your work, and send it to us. We would like your film to show humans or animal, and tell a short story in about two or three minutes.
Manga Illustrators Looking for individuals with the ability to tell a compelling story through a series of illustrations. Send us five to six pages demonstrating your drawing ability.
Manga Toners Looking for individuals who have significant skill in manga toning techniques.
Manga Inkers Looking for individuals skilled in understanding how to render manga in ink. They must understand the difference between American ink techniques and Japanese ones.
